I got a lot out of the article, however, working on the weekend for free when you are a contract laborer doesn't pay the house payment or for the groceries. We haven't had a raise in four years and in 3 months of school last year I had spent over $1000 out of my pocket for supplies and instructional needs for my classroom. I won't be paid back but I felt that those items were needed in ohelp order to help my students be as successful as possible.
